Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to create and operate your BattlePlug account, including your name, email address if you provide one, profile preferences, community memberships, power-up records, battle activity, and notification preferences.

TikTok Connection

When you connect TikTok, we store TikTok's app-specific user ID, username, display name, avatar, granted permission scope, connection status, and token expiration details. Access tokens are encrypted on the server and are not exposed to the browser.

How We Use Information

We use account and TikTok connection data to provide BattlePlug features, keep communities and battle tools connected to the right accounts, manage creator and supporter workflows, send notifications you enable, maintain security, and operate billing and support.

Payments and Billing

If you use paid features, payment processing is handled by our payment provider. BattlePlug may store billing status, customer identifiers, plan information, trial status, and related subscription metadata, but we do not store full payment card details.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the service, including with infrastructure, authentication, payment, notification, analytics, and support providers, or if required for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

Security

We use technical safeguards such as server-side token encryption, access controls, and row-level database policies to protect account data. No system is perfectly secure, but we design BattlePlug to limit access to sensitive information.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide BattlePlug, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Disconnecting TikTok pauses app access until another TikTok account is connected.

Your Choices

You can manage your TikTok connection, notification settings, and dashboard preferences in your account settings. You can also contact us about account access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.

Children

BattlePlug is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
